Event Overview: Mississauga 2026
The 2026 Scotties will transform the Paramount Fine Foods Centre into a hub of national pride. Because 2026 is an Olympic year, the tournament schedule has been moved earlier than usual to accommodate the global stage.

The “Next-Woman-Up” Storyline
The 2026 edition features a significant change in the lineup due to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Team Rachel Homan: After winning the Canadian Olympic Trials in late 2025, the defending Scotties champions (Team Homan) will represent Canada at the Olympics.

Team Canada (New): With Homan heading to Italy, the 2025 runners-up, Team Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB), have been officially designated as “Team Canada” for the 2026 Scotties.

2026 Qualified Teams & Standings
The field will consist of 18 teams (Team Canada, three pre-qualified CTRS teams, and 14 provincial/territorial champions).
Playoff Schedule
The top three teams from each pool of nine will advance to the high-stakes Championship Round.
